Setting your Tone of Voice

How to configure Tone of Voice in Brand Kit to control how the AI writes

Written by Alberto Barberis

The Tone of Voice setting tells the AI how to write — your brand's personality, style, and voice. Every AI generation can optionally use a tone to ensure consistent, on-brand output.

Brand Kit Tone of Voice tab showing list of 45 tones with descriptions

Brand Kit → Tone of Voice — 45 pre-loaded tones, each with a name and description that acts as the AI instruction.

Navigate to Brand KitTone of Voice tab. The list shows your existing tones with a name and description. The description is the actual AI instruction — the more precise and detailed it is, the more consistent the AI output.

The platform includes 45 example tones to give you a starting point, including:

  • "Minimalist and clean (Tech & Design)" — clear, concise, function-focused

  • "Eco-conscious and ethical" — sustainability-led, purpose-driven language

  • "Fashion (modern and cutting-edge brand)" — confident, sophisticated, trend-aware

  • "Vintage and nostalgic" — emotionally rich, retro-inspired

  • "Friendly and conversational (Home/lifestyle)" — warm, helpful, approachable

  • "Food & Beverage (high-end)" — elegant, sensory, refined

  • "Luxurious and exclusive" — aspirational, premium, discerning

  • "Luxury fashion" — sophisticated, timeless, understated authority

Click + Add Tone of Voice to create your own. Write a description that covers: your brand personality, target audience, language style preferences, what to emphasize, and any specific dos and don'ts. Click the menu on any tone to edit or delete it.

You can have multiple tones for different product categories, campaigns, or channels. Select a tone from the Tone of voice dropdown when configuring an Enhance action or in the AI Action settings.
