How to create Glossaries to ensure consistent terminology in AI output

Written by Alberto Barberis

Glossaries ensure the AI always uses your approved terminology — brand names, product-specific vocabulary, acronyms, and trademarked phrases — consistently across all generated content.

To create a Glossary:

  1. Navigate to Brand KitGlossaries tab.

  2. Click + Glossaries.

  3. Name the glossary group (e.g. "Brand names", "Technical terms", "Fashion vocabulary").

  4. Add your approved terms.

To link a glossary to an AI Action, select it from the Glossaries dropdown in the action configuration — either in the AI Studio action editor or in the Enhance modal.

Common use cases:

  • Ensure your brand name is always capitalized and spelled correctly (e.g. "GORE-TEX", not "Gore-Tex" or "goretex")

  • Enforce industry-specific terminology (e.g. "moisture-wicking" not "sweat-absorbing")

  • Protect trademarked phrases that must appear verbatim

  • Maintain consistent product line naming across all descriptions

  • Comply with platform-specific terminology requirements for Amazon or Shopify listings

You can create multiple glossary groups for different contexts and select the most relevant one per action type.
